The hotel we’re staying in until our new house is finished, Home2 Suites by Hilton, has everything I need to stay healthy. Here’s a quick rundown:
1. Elliptical trainer for an aerobic workout.

2. Treadmill to work on my gait.

3. Free weights.

4. Weight machines.

5. Enough room in my room to do stretching activities.

6. Ditto for working on balance.

7. A pool in the basement where I can do water aerobics. (I cannot swim anymore because of dysphagia.)

I try to work out daily, but, truth be told, I typically work out only 6 days a week. I sleep well at night and feel footloose and fancy free 7 days a week, so I’m golden.
