Caregiver Plus

My husband is also my caregiver. We still split lots of the household chores (I take out the garbage and feed the cats their medicine; he does the laundry and the odd jobs, like reinstalling the staircase bannister when it came off), and we both empty the cats’ litter box.

But look at how he arranges my T-shirts after he does the wash! One drawer for the short-sleeved T-shirts, organized by color; the other draw for long-sleeved T-shirts and my charter school polos.

That’s dedication! It’s also amazing to see.

He asked me today, “How did you get so many T-shirts?”

I responded, “I’m 66 years old. Wait until you’re my age and ask me again.”

(He’s only 43 and tomorrow is his birthday! Happy Birthday, Yong Ih!)

  1. Very impressive!!! So much easier to get the shirt you want when they are rolled instead of stacked on top of each other 🙂

BTW – I am 5 years older than you and I don’t have ANYWHERE close to this many t-shirts!! 🙂
