New Website Seeks Your Personal Story

Sunflowers

Former Massachusetts first lady Ann Romney and friends have kicked off a new website where people with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s disease and other neurological disorders can post their personal story.

The website, www.50millionfaces.org, will become a place where anyone can learn about what it’s like to live with PD and similar conditions.  A main purpose is to allow viewers with these diseases to realize they’re part of a larger community.

I’ll probably post my personal story this weekend.  Stay tuned!

Ann Romney has MS and is apparently in great shape.  I was misdiagnosed with MS until the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinion doctors said I had PD.  Go, Ann!
