The World Parkinson Congress is accepting abstracts for poster presentations at the upcoming Congress in Kyoto (June 4-7, 2019). You can submit an abstract as a medical researcher, or as someone living with Parkinson’s (or helping people with PD). You must also register for the Kyoto Congress to have it accepted. Your abstract will be published online and on a USB stick that everyone in Kyoto will receive.
The deadline to submit is November 23, 2018.

Medical/Scientific
- Etiology, genetics, epidemiology, and toxicants
- Mitochondria, oxidative stress, and pathogenesis
- Biomarkers
- Clinical trials: design, outcomes, recruiting, PwP involvement, communications
- Dopamine, receptors and other neurotransmitters
Living with Parkinson’s
- Daily life activities including working & driving
- Living Well with PD
- Government Advocacy/ Campaigns/ Public Policy
- Public Education or Awareness Programs
- Caregiving, relationships, respite care, families
