The World Parkinson Congress will meet next year in Kyoto, Japan. But they are holding a video competition, open to anyone affected by Parkinson’s (Parkies, care givers, doctors, researchers, family members) from July 9, 2018, to January 7, 2019.
The Grand Prize includes the following:
- The video will be shown at the WPC opening ceremony on June 4, 2019, and repeatedly throughout the Congress.
- The winner will receive three nights’ hotel accommodation in Kyoto.
- The winner doesn’t have to pay for the conference registration.
There are also benefits for the top 10 videos overall, and a People’s Choice Award.

You can start uploading your video (maximum length: 3 min 30 seconds, including closing credits) on Monday, July 9, 2018, but you can get started on your project now.
