In celebration of all things sunny, Parking Suns now features every Sunday a different YouTube music clip about the sun!
This week’s entry: a really fun version of “Wait Till the Sun Shines, Nellie,” sung barber-shop style by Julien, the young guy who also sang on last week’s entry, “Lida Rose & Will I Ever Tell You,” from the musical The Music Man.
This week in the USA, much of the country is hunkering down under a severe cold snap. It’s also the week when we have the shortest amount of daylight and the longest nights. So I chose this song as a carrot to dangle before our collective head. Starting next week the sun will return to ever-longer days.
