Fabulous Fun Fox Foto!

Parky and I love everything about the Michael J. Fox Foundation.  It has funded more than $600 million in Parkinson’s research, making it the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s research in the world.  It helps match clinical research trials with willing participants – I’ve volunteered for over a dozen research projects thanks to them.  It has a huge educational outreach program (bingo!)  And it’s also a lot of fun (bingo!  bingo!).

This week at the World Parkinson Congress, Fox Foundation representatives set up a zany photo station which resulted in the above picture.  They really know how to work the color orange…unlike a certain US Presidential candidate who shall remain nameless and hopefully will slip into obscurity as soon as the elections are over!

I’m also thankful to the Fox Foundation because it propels me to stay healthy.  As regular readers of Parking Suns know, I swam four open-water races this summer to raise funds for Team Fox.  I pulled in over $4000 in the process, and, just as terrific, I pushed myself physically to get in shape for these races.  To read about my races (and to see me navigating the waters around New York in my Speedos), click here:  bingo!  bingo!  bingo!  bingo!

And if you haven’t donated to my Team Fox page yet, click here (bingo!) and toss in your spare cash!

Thank you!  And thank you, Fox Foundation!
