PD Dance Doc

The movie “Capturing Grace” documents a joint project between the internationally famous Mark Morris Dance Company and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group.  In the flick, professional dancers and people with PD rehearse and perform together.  I’ve heard it’s a stunning film, and that PBS is showing it this weekend and other times.

Quote:

This is a film about rediscovery, the rediscovery of a lighter step and the sweetness of motion.  And it’s a story about a remarkable community of dancers–some professional, some not–but all coming together to move in space…and in doing so, rediscovering grace.  And it is in that rediscovery that each becomes whole.

  1. Unfortunately, the PBS station in my area does not have this program on their schedule. BUT, there are dance classes offered through a local hospital and I will enroll. Thanks for the information
