Just before my husband and I moved out of the city to the suburbs, I saw this Toyota ad on the back of a National Geographic. I cut it out and stuck it on our new home’s refrigerator, as we drive a silver Subaru Forester that looks about the same.
I thought the ad’s faulty logic was funny. No intelligent life out here. Just you. But now that I have Parkinson’s disease and am facing cognitive decline, I have to ask: Was it predictive?

Funny ad. You’d have to be nuts to drive a big SUV down rocks like that. Yeah, not intelligent!!!
And I agree with the other comment – No it is not predictive.
Was this a real ad? Didn’t the copy editor catch the error?
