Enriched Environment. Baby Boomers. Real Mad Men. Jingles.

If you grew up in the 1950s and 1960s, click here for some enriched-environment throwback Madison Avenue advertising jingles, arranged by Lester Lanin and recorded by his pop-swing band in 1961.  Mr. Clean; TWA; Bon Ami Jet Spray; Chiquita Banana; Blue Bonnet; Brylcreem – so many catchy tunes, so many years ago.

Do your neurons a favor and have a listen!  Can you remember the lyrics?

Brylcreem, a little dab’ll do ya

Brylcreem, you’ll look so debonair

Brylcreem, the gals will all pursue ya –

They love to get their fingers in your hair!

BTW The Michael J. Fox Foundation just had a blog post about the power of music.  Click here to read Music as Medicine for the Mind.
